A steady hum is what a model handles. Chatter over the main voice, wind battering the mic for a whole session, or a street interview usually needs passage-by-passage hand work. Our team takes those recordings on.

What exactly does noise removal do?

It identifies and deletes unwanted background garbage (fans, traffic, wind) while preserving the audio you care about. Old frequency filters blindly cut out chunks of sound, often damaging voices. Our AI is trained on millions of hours of audio to precisely target the noise and leave your voice intact.

How is it different from stem separation?

Stem Separation: Splits a song into useful layers (e.g., Vocals on one track, Instruments on another).
Noise Removal: Hunts down the garbage audio, deletes it, and returns one single, clean file.

Pro Tip: If a recording is both noisy and needs splitting, always clean the noise first, then separate!

Will it make my voice sound weird or metallic?

Yes, if pushed too hard. When noise and voice frequencies heavily overlap, forcing 100% dead silence will inevitably eat into your voice, making it sound hollow or metallic. The secret: Reduce the noise just enough so the speech is completely intelligible. Don't chase absolute silence.

What types of noise are the hardest to fix?

What about applause? We built a dedicated tool for that, as clapping has a totally different acoustic profile.

Noise removal vs. Audio enhancement?

They solve two completely different problems:

Noise Removal: A subtractive cleaner. It deletes noise, but if your mic sounded thin, it will still sound thin.
Audio Enhancer: A vocal polisher. It adds warmth, presence, and studio-like EQ to your voice.

Best workflow: If a track is noisy and muffled, Clean it first, Enhance it second. Doing it backwards will amplify the noise!

Who needs to remove background noise?

The tool is not open yet. These are the steps it is being built to have.

Upload the recording
Pick an audio or video file with background noise. Phone recordings, outdoor interviews and lectures filmed in an echoey room are the typical inputs.
Preview the suggested amount
The system profiles the noise floor and proposes a reduction level. Listen to a few seconds A/B against the original before deciding.
Adjust to taste
Push the level up if noise remains, pull it down as soon as the voice starts sounding hollow or metallic. The goal is intelligible speech, not perfect silence.
Download the cleaned file
Export a single cleaned file, same length as the original, in the format you choose.

Noise removal and stem separation are different jobs. If a recording is both noisy and needs splitting, clean it first, then separate.
Applause gets its own tool, because it is a genuinely different problem from steady background noise.

Trade-off: The harder you push the reduction, the more hollow and metallic the voice gets. The goal is intelligible speech, not perfect silence

Plainer wording in the specifications table
The limits row in the Specifications tab now reads as a plain maximum instead of a finance-flavoured word. The figures and their meaning are unchanged.

Specifications tab added
The page gained a Specifications tab, lifting which noise it handles well, which it does not, and the cost of pushing too hard out of the article. The ceiling and price rows say plainly that nothing is published yet, because the tool is not open and no figure is real. The manual-service offer moved above the tab strip.

Rebuilt on the shared tool frame
The page moved onto the frame shared by every tool page and gained an Instruction tab describing the planned steps. The Intro tab was expanded with a definition section and a section separating noise removal from audio enhancement. The tool itself is still not open.
